Please recommend me a soundbar which I can put below 46" led tv. I was planning to get a home theatre for my bed room but then finally decided for a soundbar as I'm not sure how many times I gonna switch on a receiver etc (being lazy perhaps).

I saw in hifivision a Boston Acoustics, How is that one ?

Budget 50K max.

Thanks

i have a boston acoustics tvee 25...as per me its much much better than the tv speakers...mostly the sound is much more heavier and better....plus its very easy to use n maintain ;)

u can check the yamaha soundbar too...i saw one in reliance digital ..it was around 30k..check it out

many available...........polk audio, denon, yamaha, definitive tech, JBL, etc..........

get tvee in 10k
Boston Acoustics TVee Model 20 Sound bar 690283478605 | eBay

feel sound bar is most ripoff of all speakers..
50k for sound bar? hahah..well made stereo setup will come
i am bound to laugh as compared to TV price,
recently i took few samsung ultraslim LED in 33k for frenz n parents

For all flat tv owners isnt 2 good wall speakers+amp is enough\

boston acoustics wall speakers 5k /pair
Add 1k amp all set.

Just got a Boston Acoustics Tvee 30 from Soundscape Pune for. Sound is definitely an improvement but not really surround, if you know what I mean. Went for it for the usual reasons, 5.1 takes too much space and is tough to put in if the interior is already done. It is still nice and I like it.

It plays decent music too and supports bluetooth so I can play music from laptop on it which is pretty handy.

One con which I noticed and not mentioned any where is that there is no way to power off the device using a remote. The bar stays on and apparently consume little power even in sleep mode.

In my opinion, Tvee 25 will be small for your size of TV if you are thinking of going for that.

@electricmonk thanks for your post. will keep that in idea.

at 50k a decent stereo set up will be managed.....why a asound bar:rolleyes:

Everyone says that, but my better half wont like surround speakers etc in a bedroom because I already have setup in drawing room. (64" plasma + denon 1711 + q acoustics speakers)

But for the sake of better sound I need something for my bedroom.. that for example if some movie is comin up in HD Channel , i can enjoy it @ its best

Plan B could be... I could go for slim receiver and 2.1 speaker set ? what say ? but only bookshelves not floor standers.

My viewing and listening distance would be 17.5 feet @ most.

go for plan B.......much better than a soundbar.
or you can do a thing..
plan c
that is using your present avr denon 1711...use its B zone..connect 2 new bookshelves...use very thick cable...so you buy 2 bookshelves at say 30k.....save 20k....buy something else....
I dont know though do it have B zone....??

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
