LP record cover

Friends.

During the recent wet spell in Chennai I found that my LP records' outer plastic cover wet with water vapour and the cardboard covers laden with moisture.I have dried the plastic covers and the cardboard cover in sunlight.I am worried about my LPs which I have started collecting for the past three years.What measures should I take to clean the records?I request our fellow members to kindly advise me.I have kept my LPs in the ground floor in my office as there is no space in my home.

I suppose vacuum sealable bags should be an option to keep them safe next time - you get them for storing clothes.

Moisture itself should not be an issue, but if you want to clean them,

As you know the EPs jacket/covers get damaged because of thin paper.
I have around 50 EPs which require new covers. Finally thought to create covers for them, and I am done with one (Guide). I will print these on 250-300gms paper. Here is original cover with the new designed cover. I am not sure it's worth as it's time consuming. See enlarged images please. :yahoo:
