Magic Motion remote for LG 42LN5710

hi guys, i have recently bought a LG 42LN5710 TV:clapping::clapping:. i am wanting to buy the magic motion remote that the company has been advertising enables motion movements across the menus in the 'smart' section. this remote can also be used to play games that are listed among the apps on the TV. My problem is that i have been chasing LG for a remote since last 3 weeks and they have sent 3 different magic remotes but none of them work with my TV:sad:. it keeps saying press ok to register but it never registers. all the physical buttons on he magic remote work fine but the on screen motion cursor does not appear on screen and it keeps prompting to register the magic remote. i am getting kinda frustrated dealing with different technicians who turn up with a remote and cant get it to work. each of them restore factory defaults that rids the tv of any customization that i might have done.:sad:
is there anyone on this forum who has this model LN5710 (size does not matter) and is using a magic remote with it. pls help me with the exact model number so that i can get LG to make me spend Rs. 2100/- + 50/- delivery charges. i am tired of giving excuses to my 6 year old who is behind me to start playing the games on the tv.

If you have a Wifi Router and a smartphone(Andriod or IOS), you can try the LG TV Remote App. This app does 75% of what you can expect from a magic remote and comes for free. Give it a try !!!

yes. i have tried it. It works. however the games from the appworld are not wortkiing with the mobile app. it needs the remote. LG have been advertising this feature but till date none of the service center technicians or helpdesk have been able to help me.

I had an issue of magic motion remote hanging onmy 2011 lw5700 3d ledtv and I insisted for the replacement of tv as they could not rectify it even after several trials, and even though it was just the remote, I was pissed off with its uncertain behavior and after a lot of escallation and follow ups I got my refund , later bought lm6200 which came wo magic remote, but I was ok with it.
