Hi dear forum members,

I have two queries for you:
01.I currently use Marantz SACD 7001KI .I am in search of Marantz CD 17 Mk 3,though is an older model.
Its by one of friends recommendation that its much more smooth sounding (Which I prefer) as well as detailed.This friend of me is into this for past few years and knows my tastes.
But few others say,not to go for CD 17 MK 3 it,since its an older model.What do you say ?
I have audiolab 8000c as preamp,Cyrus 8s and Aragon 2002 as power amps,FocalJMlab Cobalt 806 as speakers.
02.Can you suggest few good preamplifiers for this set up ?
I like Indian classicals..vocals,instumentals,both carnatic and hindustani,of course old film songs,Bhajans,selected English country songs,Ghazals etc
