I tried looking for reviews in this forum for Mi 65 inch but did not get much success. Cannot trust much with the guys reading spec sheet on Youtube.

My usage is mostly OTT's for around 2 hours, live sports and I am planning to buy the PS5 when it launches.

Viewing distance is around 12 feet and I am ready to look for another brands or even 55 inch. Budget is capped at 1L but would be happy to buy something at the range of 60k and save the 40k for playstation.

Let me know your thoughts.

If you're mostly looking for gaming and OTT the tcl and the new OnePlus tv is good if you don't want to spend more than 60k. I wouldn't recommend the Mi tv because it has very low brightness. If you can extend your budget to about 80k for the tv alone then the Samsung frame 2020 model is really good, it has a 120hz panel , amazing contrast ratio and great brightness. Hisense is planning on launching its tvs soon but nobody knows when it will come.

I have it. Its not good. The worst HDR performance and Terrible edge light bleeding with disappointing black levels. However, its the HDR performance that is the deal breaker.

MiTV not at all recommended. Have seen it in person, brightness level and colors looked washed out.

Under 1L, for gaming, pick Samsung Frame 55in, will cost you 82k. Has 120hz panel, VRR and no input lag, with 10bit WCG screen, this is a great TV with QLED. Oh the Frame and One connect box is a great benefit of you think of it to be.

go for mi muijja projector youth edition 36k
superb picture with hdr
you wont be disappointed

You have some decent option in Sony and Samsung for <=1L. Have a look at Samsung Q70 or X8500F. The reviews of these TVs are available in most of the reputed sites.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
