I guess they don't compare with OLED in contrast and black levels. Somewhat better on terms of brightness.

My laptop from 2023 has a mini led screen and to my eyes, it looks quite decent but my 2017 b7 oled looks better To my eyes in terms of natural skin tones.

Micro LED is where its gonna be at in a couple of years, but the tech is really nascent and supply lines not yet established so prices are crazy

Yeah there are pros and cons.

I had a macbook m1 pro with its miniled a couple of years ago and now have a thinkpad with an OLED and while both displays are really good, i prefer the OLED any day. mainly due to the perfect blacks. i can live with the risk of burn-in.

I want to get an OLED PC monitor too (32 inch 4K UHD) when they hopefully are available locally by the end of the year.
