Moving back from US: what to buy

My brother is moving back from usa in couple of months.

He already has energy take5 with yamaha av receiver. Yamaha receiver can be used as a preamp.

Looking for Good pair of bookshelves under $2000. Used is ok.

I suggested Emotiva xpa 2 which should do good for most speakers.

Need a projector suggestion too.

I was going thru Audiogon and other places, I felt may be Usher Be-718 may be a good choice. Not sure if they are available used.

You can take a look at axiom book shelves too. They are very good and bang for buck as well. M80 V3 is an amazing Floor standing speaker and is just $1300. M22 V3 is an amazing book shelf speaker and is only $480. I have an axiom and they are totally underrated.

One consideration about what to buy is whether he is shipping it in a container or coming back with checked in bags.If the latter then best to go for the highest value stuff.

That is the reason I suggested him to get some good stuff as he is also into music.

available on craigslist in US.

If container, then let him also look at a good screen. Pre-owned sometimes can be had very cheap.

Check out the Panasonic AE-4000 for the projector. I've seen it installed in a couple of places and they are awesome. It costs $2000 AFAIK. He could check them out in projectorpeople. May be some deals available.
