Conversion of mp3 song to instrumental possible? Looking to remove vocal from the mp3.
Tried couple of softwares (Free download) auadcity, wavosaur, karoke sound tool. But no success. (The demo does show the conversion, but when i tried, i get not-only the vocals, but even the whole songs gets removed. Its gives just a clipping sound).
Any links of software that does the job?
Or i should take it to studio to do it? (My friend checked with local cd/dvd shops and they don't do it). Its not for commercial. Just want to covert around 5 songs max. (Hindi, Tamil)

Been there... short answer is it's not possible. Those software you listed may attempt it but it's simply not possible. Some poorly mastered old songs might have the vocals and the music in separate channels (example left / right channels of a stereo) and you can separate those.

Try searching for instrumental music online and you may find them if the makers actually released an instrumental version of it.
