Its been more than 6 months with Focal XS and I would like to share my experience with hifivision.
First of all Thanks to hifivision in helping me to decide
I can say that Focal XS is one of the best. The best part is
DAC: Burr-Brown DAC is really good. I can see the difference. But at the same time Focal XS won't forgive low quality recordings
Sub woofer: Its really good. Quality Bass but you can't expect more in terms of quantity like Logitech Z5500
Speakers: The speakers are brighter to my taste (I listen to Marantz + MA BR2). So these speakers are not soft
- points:
1. I'm unable to use the remote. Even for adjusting volume. Its not working
2. Wires are proprietary and the length is limited. So I can't place the speakers according to my preference (I want to place speakers above ear level and with 10 ft distance between them)
Overall I find this to be a good package and this is for people who don't have enough space, have lots of flac, and enjoy high quality audio
