Hi All

My turntable is running slow and not at 33.3 RPM. Its running at 28. I have used the fine motor adjustments at the back and that helped slightly but not much. Changed the belt as well..what else should i be doing?

what is the make and model of your turntable?

Hi !
Repaired one of these a few months ago. That one was too fast. In case of yours , check whether the wallwart is delivering the correct voltage. It should be 12 VAC iirc .

Regards,

Can you check if the pulley isn't slipping on the motor shaft? This can cause play back speed issues, though if it is steady at even the lower speed, the pulley isn't the fault. Sometimes the pulley can unglue itself from the motor shaft causing it to slip. You need to remove the belt and turn the pulley by hand and feel for variation in feel while turning the motor shaft.
