Will this set up work well ?. I will be driving speakers rated at 100 RMS /86db./8 ohms

I have an old NAD c320( not BEE) lying around.. Can I get the crown, which seems very good value for the power it offers.(any catch? ).

How will the set up sound ? Will the two be compatible ? Do I need to be aware of some parameters while connecting the two ?

Thanks.

I have used my NAD C320 with Quad 306 power to a 84db TL speakers and it sounded really good to me. Take a demo with crown and compare

The specs above are not very power hungry IMHO. The Crown xls series has been put to use by some for power hungry 4ohm speakers. I would suggest you look at Norge power amp if on a restricted budget.
