Hello guys,

My name is Sunil and I have been a AV enthusiast for a long time albeit with little knowledge of the same. I am in the process of procuring a Flat for which I am planning a home theater setup which has been my dream for long.

Hoping to have wonderful interactions with all the members of the forum.

Regards,

Sunil

Vanakkam, Namaskar, Namasthe, Vandanam, Welcome to our Hifi Forum:) Rest assured we will take care to make a dent in your Wallet.

@srinisundar and jitubisht,

Thanks for the welcome.

Rest assured we will take care to make a dent in your Wallet.

That scares me a bit now, it does :p Although I have no issues with getting a home theatre before furnishing the house, my wife might object to not having a bed to sleep on, despite having a 46 inch Sony Bravia to watch Godfather on. :D

Thank you all, for the warm welcome. :)

Bhat, I am right now in Falnir Main Road and will be moving to um, Falnir Britto Lane in a year and a half or so. (I spell badly in English so I won't even attempt anything in Tulu. :o)

Glad to be a member of HFV.

Welcome to the Forum, Sunil. Have a nice time :).

Annereg Namaskara (Translation = Namaste Brother ;)).

ROFL,

It is indeed a small world. :)

But you have an unfair advantage, Kumar.

Would love it if you would let me know how you know of the R15. ODF ? FB ? Interesting.

Thanks for the welcome :)

I gave away my advantage by quoting R15, ain't it?

I was active on ODF, but not so in the last one year or so... busy with setting up my HT and then work is taking away all my time off-late...

Not fair, Kumar,

You can at the very least let me know of your ODF ID. :p

What I find quite interesting is that most of us folks who like our bikes and our cars are also into music and the associated setups. I wouldn't venture so far as to call them rare pleasures of life (17 years of blissful married life has taught me to be pretty circumspect :D) but am pretty close to calling it as such. :D

So you are simple guys with simple tastes, eh?

Simple guy, sure. Simple tastes, I wish ! Else I would be pretty content with my Samsung 30" CRT TV and my Sony GR88 85 Watts RMS per channel, a 30 Watt active Sony Sub and my custom built speakers housing 10" drivers all of which is around 7 years old. :) No, am looking for something more. Upgraditis ? Sure :o

Kumar,

I pretty much know most of the regulars on ODF. Will see if I can guess you out :p

Regards,

Sunil
