I'm planning to buy a 3D tv....smart is not as needed...40EH6030 is quite very cheap at only rs. 57000. But i doubt its PQ, i have seen sd channel on it and its quality was worse thn my sony wega CRT tv. If anybody can tell about performance of EH6030, as may be where i had seen it might be case of improper settings. If its really bad thn i would like to move on HX750/HX850 but price of EH6030 is too attractive. Plz help.

SD channels would look bad on any LCD TV even those costing 2 lac +. Only Plasma can offer better SD quality but still won't as good as on your CRT.

But most of time we use tv for sd channels as HD channels are still few, thn do we have to go with pixelleted PQ whatever LED tv we choose. And one more thing my viewing distance is 8 feet, is it ok for 40 inch tv or 32 inch would be better. main use of tv would be for DTH, movies from laptop .

Well I'd say 40 will "barely" do at that distance. Anyway yes, no matter what LED you buy, pixelated SD channels have no solution. ;)

panasonic fhd 42 inch 3d plasma is only around 46k.......
50 inch fhd 1round 70k.......
50 inch semi 55k.........best vfm i think

plasmas offer superior pictures no doubt than its lcd/lced-led cousins.

for mainly sd channels buy any 32 inch sony semi hd lcd........dont strech your budget.if its for hd movies...the demo a sony led/sammy plasma/pana plasma

and decide which looks to you best.simple.
but nothing comes to compare regarding pq (YES ABSOLUTLY NOTHING) with pana mid end and high end plasmas........like around 95k range starting pana plasmas........

thanks for all replies....TV would be for both SD and HD channels, HD movies as i download them a lot from net and occasionaly 3D movies. Maximum size of tv for my room is 40 inch as max viewing distance is 8 feet. On net I can't find any reviews for EH6030. I saw demo in samsung showrom but there i just saw their own videos and they were of course looking nice. And here reliance digital is not having any series 6 tv, so can't compare.I'm feeling like to buy either EH6030 or HX850, of course wide gap in their prices...and one more confusion is of size of tv 32 inch or 40 inch. I wish this festive season I may have been able to make up mind clearly.
