Hi,

I have planned to buy a HT for my living room. It has a LG 32'' in a corner setup. I have checked between Onkyo 3400 and Samsung 5502k. Samsung seems to have lot of features while Onkyo will be better in sound. As i am in the third floor of a apartment, i think that i can not fully utilize the sound effect from a Onkyo and so decided to go for this Samsung as it seems to have other features ...

Guys, got any other suggestion... my budget is around 25000...

Sony Samsung Hts systems has all frills no real features. They do not have HDMI input, it means if the inbuilt DVD player stops working then you will be left no other options to connect it. It will be a dead set. You can connect other devices via RCA cable but you will get only stereo sound.
Onkyo has HDMI input which means you can use DVD/BD player/ Laptop/TV / set top box to connect and get 5.1 surround sound.
You have a wrong notion that to enjoy sound, it needs to be played loud which is absolutely wrong. Onkyo and Yamaha will give more richer and fuller sound than Sony Samsung in lower volume. Its the quality that matters not the quantity.
I suggest you check out models from Yamaha YHT > YHT-196 - Home Theater Packages - Yamaha - India

Denon has also good HtiB > Profx - Advanced Audio Solutions look here.
