Well I need 500w rms @4ohm average power for each sub so preferably looking for 2channel DJ amplifier. Let me know if there is some home audio amp which can throw this much power. But am very strict to budget I will compare car, home, dj amp & will go for cheapest one. Currently car amp seems to be cheapest one but using it in home will be very tricky & non efficient job! So I have left with dj or home amp. Am not very specific with class of amp also. I just need raw rms power in cheap. Am even OK with 2nd hand stuff but should be reliable enough. Put some suggestions, tricks & tips. I am gonna compile this system with my Sony HT-M5 Explosive 1580W RMS 5.2ch home theater component system. My budget can be around 10-20k.

Yo can use car amp at home and get decent sound if you invest on a good car sub amp and a very good PSU. If you only need 'raw rms', buying a PA power amp would do the job but looking at the spec of your system, it only has a stereo pre-out option and no dedicated sub pre-out.

So, you need to use a sub filter (Low pass filter). Going for car sub amp is better if you do not possess diy skill to make a sub filter.

@Ajose - well der is Crown XLS 1500 for 25k on bajaoo.Com which throws 1500w rms raw power 2ohm stable class D & such a great international brand so I will get spares for lifetime! Custom amp shouldn't cost that much sir! Lemme know if u can gimme better deal. PM me a genuine offer. I need 1000w rms monoblock @2ohm & I will abuse amp badly as I live Loud so construction of amp should be strong enough to withstand the 2ohm full power load!

Sarith - I am getting car amp for very cheap but I searched simple PSU which will throw around 100A 12V DC but no luck! If u know anything which will gimme decent constant 100A 12V DC power please please please lemme know! I am fed up searching for some powerful SMPS or converter! A simple convertor unit which looks like stabilizer would be great! I saw such unit on YouTube but donno where I can get such unit in India!

@yugaaa- well I can easily get pair of monoblocks for 2 subs which will provide 600w rms to each sub! I don't have lots of cash to play with DIY stuff again & again so need something which will last long!

A custom made transformer (IE core or Toroid) with a rating of 0-12VAC 100A (I guess 50A is enough) or buy something like these

T 1500 12 Super Stable Power Supply Unit 1500W DC12V 100amp 220V DC 0 15V 13 8 | eBay

100 Amp Regulated Power Supply Runs Texas Star Fatboy Xforce Palomar Amplifiers | eBay

16K just to convert power supply! Getting another DJ amp would be way simpler & logical! Getting car amps of 15k plus power supply of 15k! I would get nice dj amp in 30k! Ur custom PSU went for what cost? & r they reliable?

Then go for a DJ amp. I searched the net but couldn't find any other option.

My what custom PSU? I don't have any PSU with me. I was suggesting what all can you do to make car sub amp work at home. You mentioned in your previous post about 12V 100A (ampere) PSU.

I was suggesting you to buy a transformer and you have to custom order such transformers as they are seldom readily available with such rating (100A). It seems hard to find a 100A diode to make/assemble a diy PSU.
