greetings guys...
this is my 1st post...
i am looking fr home theatre for my leaving room, mainly fr listening music and tv and some movies..
i auditioned yamaha RX v371 + yamaha ns f140 floor standers + yamaha ns p150 centre & rear speekers in pune.
i am pretty impressed with music quality.
total cost comes around 41999 INR.
is it worth buying? anybody using same combination?
whats ur opinions on pioneer HTP RS32?
plz reply fast guyzzz.........

 hey guyz... was waiting for ur help but nobody came up with answer...
finally auditioned pioneer ht RS32, bought it for 36.3k frm reliance digi.
what r ur opinions on this?

Hey,

Pioneer recently only launched their series of HT packages with Floorstander/bookshelf speakers, and I did notice this in their Indian website. Great value for money product from the specs. And you got it for 36.3, thats a great price.
Denon/Yamaha HT packages with those tiny satellites cost more than 30k!

I cannot comment on the audio quality, i haven't heard it.
But Pioneer(US) has some great HT packages(speakers only) and our FM's had bought it and they're satisfied cusomters.

I don't think many HFV members own your model.
Now you need to give us your reviews!

Congrats on the new system and enjoyyy...:)

So how was your audition experience in relation to both the yamaha set and the pioneer set you bought. (This can be a starting point for ur review of the pioneer. :D)

Congrats on buying Pioneer HT. It is a vergy set as well.

Well ... I can say one thing with respect to the AV receivers. Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon and Pioneer produce similar level of performance. In fact, this was even commented by many test experts. They say it is becoming very difficult for them to say which model is the best. All these manufactures produce sets of almost similar performance. Even if an expert gives more ratings to one brand model, he will generally add a caveat saying that he was inclined towards that particular brand model only because of his personal preference and not on the grounds of similar performance.

To summarize, brands like Yamaha, Onkyo, Denon and Pioneer produce sets whose performances are almost similar and so it is difficult to say the best among them. It is left to the individal to audition those sets seperately and see what he/she prefers.

Havent played much with settings..
I bought it mainly fr listening to music.
And u know what speakers are wallshaking...
Subwoofer rocks. It has got todoroki mode (means thunder of canon) and it really produces thunder like sounds. My neighboirs came finding frm where such sound is coming?
