[Need Help] Sony 40" or Panasonic 42" LED TV

Guys I need help in choosing an LED TV for my onam purchase. My budget is around 45-55k INR. I have shortlisted two models :

Sony BRAVIA KLV-40R482B 40"

As i have no prior experience in buying a LCD/LED TV(my old Sony Trinitron CRT 21" is still going strong ) i need your suggestions.

i would suggest you do a PQ comparison of both the televisions side by side from the market,enquire about offers and extended warranties and then decide,i have the panny a610d for the past 1 month and i like everything about it.another aspect to consider is the various ports and connectivity options available on the TV.hope this helps

The MRP is INR 59900 but I was able to get it for 48k from a local dealer

So far I'm satisfied with my choice, the colors are more saturated compared to Panny and the USB media player is able to handle large files.

However, the viewing angles aren't that great compared to an IPS panel
