It can drive the floor stands efficiently. Try to audition dali zensor7, wharfedale diamond 240 and others which matches them

I have seen some FMs used to drive b&w book shelf speakers which are hard to drive

Marantz sr series avr's are very good for srereo

Raja,

From my own experience short-listing speaker in the last 6 months, i have understood that reviewing more than 5-7 speaker combinations is an absolute waste of time and money and may also confuse you in the end.

For VFM, the following FS speaker combination will stand out.

Pure acoustics RB6 (5.1 combination at just 61,000)
Sonodyne 2605 V3 (35k pair for FS)

Since your room is relatively small, FS would be an overkill. A very good bookshelf speaker combination with stands would be more appropriate.

Sonodyne SRA-2100 (These are active speakers with stands) - extremely good - 100k for a pair - that means they need their own power supply.

Dali Zensor 1 (5.1 solution bookshelf package)-100k

Monitor Audio Bronze 2 (40k for a pair of bookshelf)

Check with Vipul Audio at kiel pauk for dalis

It is always debatable that which speaker is good for small rooms between book shelves and floor stands?

IMO floor stands are good at low frequency vocals which are thin in book shelves

And since Marantz sr 5008 is driving my wharfedale 9.5 very well you can not go wrong with any speakers

Hi Raja74

The Marantz 5010 is quite good and you should personally audition your kind of music with the variety of speakers available.....Marantz as a brand is very musical and matches with most of the big speaker brands available....

There are many dealers, no harm in going for demos with your music and hearing the same provided it is being done with a Marantz AVR....

Trust your ears, end of the day it will be you who will be using the system and not us....see what appeals to you in appearance, performance and budget.

Hi Guys,

Finally i bought Marantz SR5010 & Dali Zensor 7 and i am happy with the product enjoying it, Thanks to you all people :)

Guys i need to know about the power fluctuation in my area. Could you be so kind to help me to conclude it,

It is like power is going off and on while using it, moreover i am using in power stabilizer (1KVA), Still i am unable to get it, So people kindly suggest me to improvise my HT, Expecting your valuable response :)

55 inches TV & Marantz, Blue ray Player with TATA Sky DTH.

Expecting a valuable and effective response from you fine people :).

I run my HT on an APC SmartUPS SUA1000UXI. However the relay noises are annoying every time the voltage fluctuates. It's better to get an online model like the SRC1000UXI.

That should be enough for the AVR and TV but not for a subwoofer. You need at least 2000W for a subwoofer as well.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
