Need help with generator and lift maintenance in bangalore

Hi Guys,

My apartment's lift as well as generator need repairs. Could someone provide some good lift and/or generator maintenance companies/shop's phone numbers in bangalore. Probably someone who's already doing it for your apartment building.

The lift is bluestar and generator is kirloskar. I can call kirloskar for generator maintenance, but there's no bluestar in bangalore, only in mumbai.

Another issue is that it seems there is some kind of an automatic/manual switch needed between the keb supply and the generator, going into the house wiring. My builder never put this switch and now we have to get one ourselves. Anyone has any idea where can i get this and what's the approximate cost. The generator is 15KVA.

Normally every apartments will go for AMCs for these kind of equipments. Our apartment complex is having AMCs for lifts/Generators/STP/GYM/Pool and the rest of the things like other common area equipments, guest rooms etc are done by the In-house Electrician & Plumber. I think its better you contact the builder to get the contact details of the vendor who had supplied the material or directly contact the local company installers, for bluestar, try contacting the HVAC vendors, atleast you will get their service center / installer numbers.

I think you are talking about the ChangeOver switch (ACCL) b/n the Gen and EB. But I suspect whether the existing electrical circuit design is feasible or not, as these swiches comes with a maximum threshold capacity say 3A, 10A etc. If you have a separate circuit inside the house for generator backup and the max load is less than the threshold capacity, then you can connect to it. If there is only a single circuit for Generator and EB, then the capacity of ACCL should hold the entire load including geysers/AV equipments etc which will be very expensive else it will damage the ACCLs. When will it break down, cannot be predicted coz' the damage will be due to the excess heat produced at the terminals and the components in the ACCL and due to the sudden load at the 3amp terminals when the ACCL is sending the Generator power.

A typical 3A ACCL from Havells/Electron will cost you around 1500+ with 6months warranty.

Bumping this old thread as I also need lift AMC for my office. Any updated info. Also, what is typical AMC charges for a small 6 person lift maintenance.

I am also looking for AMC renewal for my apartment. We have 2 lifts, one with 10 passenger capacity and the second one with 6 passenger capacity. Both are of Schindler brand.

The current AMC plan (for the 10 passenger capacity) is around 88k which we find expensive.

Can some one give contacts on 3rd party AMC for Lifts or their experience in this.
