Need new Audio Equipment / Home Theatre

Hi.
I've been going thru this Forum the last 1 week - for information / help. I see SO MANY members who've had so much experience & expertise in this field. (Joined today!)
Need to buy an AVR & Speakers. Hope you guys can guide me ...:sad:

Had a Yamaha 657 with Wharfedale Moviestar 70+ & 150 W Sub.
6 months back, upgraded to a 50" Full HD Panasonic; Last week sold the AVR & Speakers.

Have been looking at these Options/Bundles:

Onkyo TX-SR309313 and WharfeDale Crystal, 150 W Sub
Denon 1312 and Pure Acoustics Supernova 5 + SW 100/200
Onkyo TX-SR309 and Jamo S 506 HCS3, 150 W Sub
Onkyo TX-SR309 and WharfeDale Vardus 400, 150 W Sub
Harman Kardan AVR 158 and Infinity Primus 250 Pack, 110 W Sub

I have no info at all about the PA Supernova or Jamo S 506 HCS3.
I listened to the HK & Primus pack; liked it - it's a bit expensive.

Other possibilities are to look at a Marantz 1402 / Yamaha 571 or Denon 1612 - and search for Speakers.

This sounds interesting - i was happy with my earlier Yamaha rxv-657. This one is similar but with HDMI. Only 3D seems to be missing - that's not a concern for me.

The Diamond also will give me the FStanders i would like to have - that will be an upgrade to my old Wharf Moviestar.

Wonder what the price is. I hope it's in perfect shape? Also the config: Which Centre / Surrounds / Sub ?

How can i get in touch with him and get these details? (What is FM?)

my pick would be marantz or denon with wharf speakers. vardus 400 is a good entry level speaker system and good value for money, but if you can stretch the budget then wharf diamond series are better.

Thanks, Akash. I have also heard good about the Diamonds. So found the "used Yamaha+Diamond" interesting. (Waiting to hear from Praveen )
The combos that I mentioned have some promo prices. If i try to go separately for Marantz / Denon with Diamond, prices may exceed my rather low budget (around 50k+). Let me see...
I listened to the Harman K. AVR 158 & Infinity Primus 250 (PrII 250 FS, PrII 150 Surr, Pr IIC25 centre, PS8 110W Sub). My inexperienced ears liked it a lot :licklips:. It is a bit expensive, but manageable if good.
Hope to get comments on that; and the Jamo S 506 HCS3 too from members here.

Yamaha + wharfs might also sound good...........best is to hear them always!!! denon, marantz, yamaha would be better than HK when it comes to receivers. all the best.

Ah - FM must be Forum Member? Kochin - Bangalore may not be a big problem - it's just a night trip.
What i would really like to to be assured about is about the condition, price etc! Just joined the forum 2 yesterday - let me see how to find srisha here...

Hello friends. Looks like I am approaching a decision on this:

1. A V Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR 158

2. INFINTY Primus Speakers:
Floorstanding Speakers PRIMUS II 250BK pair
Satellites Primus 150BKS pair
Center Channel Speaker PRIMUS II C25
Infinity Powered Subwoofer PRIMUS PS8 110W Sub

Hope it wont be a bad decision. Liked the sound; am not an expert audiophile...
Will have to place order/buy by next week.

As a Bundled Promotional Offer, it may cost me a total of about 65K - including shipping.

Please let me know if anyone has any bad :sad: experiences (or good!) :licklips: / advice reg this.
