Hello everyone, i'm new here, i wanted to know power consumption of my lg 32 inches lcd tv (model no lg32cs470) they did not mention watts on the back side panel of my tv, they mentioned have below info
Ac 100-240 v - 50/60 hz , 1.5 A

is it 360 watts ? noob here , i read somewhere that you need to multiply amps X volts to get watts ( 1.5a x 240v)
plz help

It's in theory, Wattage = Voltage x Ampere but that doesn't mean your TV consumes 360W. Does a 1000VA UPS mean it's 1000W ? Nope. There are Power Factors that come into play.

Your 32" LCD is supposed to consume 130-140W at full level.

i have one last question , i'm planning to buy vguard mini crystal stabilizer for lg 32 inch lcd

in stabilizer description they mentioned capacity as 1.3 Amps but my lcd tv is of 1.5amps ( they mentioned on tv back panel) will there be any problem if i buy mini crystal model ?

if yes shall i buy 2amps model ?

or should i buy vguard 2amps stabilizer?.....

both vguard models have two 2 pins and one 3 pin output options
can i connect tv and dth in two 2 pins slots and my laptop in three 3 pin slot ? total 3 connections....

thanks in advance.

You can safely go for the mini crystal. It will handle all your said load. I have the same and tried my 40" LED, DTH, Edifier 2.1 speaker system etc.

Like he said, there won't be any problem with the Mini Crystal stabilizer. You can connect your TV, STB and your Laptop.

Just a thought why can't we go for a 600V ups instead of stabiliser as we have a power backup to shutdown tv safely

That's what I said on some other thread but people are looking for stabilizer. A smart UPS will cost you around 8-10K. I also suggested buying a Sine-wave Inverter instead of a Stabilizer.

Hi,
I received v-guard mini crystal stabilizer, i just wanted to know whether there is any time delay or not when i plug it into mains.

my friends mini crystal (bought 2 years back ) has a time delay of 3-4 seconds but my new stabilizer has no time delay....

my new stabilizer malfunctioning ?

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
