Need suggestion regarding audio

This Prabir from kolkata.
today I have ordered Egate P531 projector and Elcor Pull Down Auto-Lock Spring Action Projector Screen 7X5 feet.
Pj will be delivered tomorrow. Screen will be delivered later.
I also had Sony DAV TZ 310 surround sound system.
I am facing problem that when i play movie from Seagate media player video goes through HDMI cable, audio goes through 3.5mm audio cable then all things are fine, it generates good surround soundscape. But when same procedure done with PC, the sound quality deteriorated drastically.

plz note that Sony DAV TZ 310 has two types of audio input, 1) 3.5mm jack 2)L/R input. Till date I have Sony 26" LCD TV

HDMI carries both audio & video.. Why have you connected 3.5mm cable?

But when same procedure done with PC, the sound quality deteriorated drastically.

Am assuming your PC doesn't have HDMI out.. But, whichever media player you use on PC, you will need to make changes to audio output, to get the best out of it..
