New Home Theater Enthusiast from Pune | Seeking Guidance & Local Meetups!

Hello everyone,

Excited to join this forum! I’m from Pune, a mechanical engineer by profession, a photographer by passion, and a perfectionist by nature (a blessing and a curse, really!). I love cars, gadgets, etc.

I’m just starting my home theater journey and currently own Q Acoustics 3050i speakers. I have yet to purchase an AVR, subwoofer, and other components, so I’ll be seeking guidance from the experts here.. I’ll be setting up my home theater in the living room of my new home over the next four months, and I’m sure I’ll have plenty of questions along the way.

I love music across all genres and eras. Marathi, Hindi, and English songs from 1930 to 2025 (yes, my playlist confuses Spotify’s algorithm!). My music preferences depend on my mood, so one day it’s old-school classics, and the next, it's bass-heavy beats.

Looking forward to connecting with fellow home theater enthusiasts. Also, if anyone here is from Pune, are there any meetups or groups for HT lovers? Or do we all just secretly tweak our setups at 2 AM, trying not to wake the neighbors?
