For a room size of 12x8, the above configuration is too heavy. Even for a room of 14x10, this is too heavy. Go for bookshelves, which will be be better than floorstanders for your room. No disrespect to MS-Aviano 6 which are brilliant speakers but they will be underpowered by Denon 1713. You can keep the budget to 1 lakh and this will be more than sufficient for your room.

Go with this speaker combination only if you intend to move the system to a larger room (say 15x12 or more) and then the AVR should be 120W RMS for each front channel (like Denon 2313). It will be then when MS-Avioano 6 will shine.

Go for the bookshelf speaker as suggested, Floor standers are overkill for the room size. I have gone through this exercise and now settled with bookshelves.

Thanks for the reply and your valuable inputs. So should I go with same configuration and replace floor-standing with bookshelves??
