NOS deals for DAC/ DAC/ Amp/ CDP

Wondering what happens to fresh stock of stuff that goes out of marketing. Like BLASTO suggested, we can get Monitor Audio speakers for less if we choose the outgoing models.

Please share any similar deals - I am most interested in DAC and speakers.

Yes, This will hugely benefit customers like us and surely the dealer, to clear old stocks.

The original Richer Sounds shops, in UK, would sell a lot of last-year's-model stuff at good prices. It's a great idea that allows people to own stuff beyond the budget. It was also the basis of what has become a big and successful chain, so it can't be a bad business model.

Doesn't gel well, though, with a business culture in which stuff stays on the shelf until it is sold. I expect a discount on dusty clothes, but the shopkeeper always says, "yes, it's dirty. So wash it! No discount." I put it back on the shelf.

I don't think it is as easy..
They need some persuation and push..

As Thad said, most will be more than willing to sell dust covered stuff for full amount.
