Nostalgic music activates brain areas linked to memory, reward, and self-processing.
Nostalgic music — music that we tie strongly to a point in our lives — can evoke deep emotions across the age span.
The root of this phenomenon has remained a mystery, but studies have shown that music can generate strong emotional responses — both to calm and invigorate.

Yes. Music is the only Time Machine which takes you back to your younger days. As an example I would listen to Elton John’s “Don’t let the sun go down on me” on Radio Kuwait (19m band) in early seventies. Even now that song evokes a strong nostalgia for days gone by. As Elton sang in ‘Crocodile Rock’: “The years went by and rock just died, Susie went and left me for some foreign guy, I just cried by my reccud machine, dreamin of the Chevy and the old routine…..”

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
