I was at a store today, saw this tiny little 5x5inch box wondered what it was and looked up close and it was a freaking sub of some shitty chinky 2.1 :lol:
Price 4k.

Whats scary is that if I were 7 years younger id have gone OMG MICRO SUB SO COOL!

But seriously... what kind of bass can a 5x5inch downfiring box put out for 4k ! :lol: at 4k I'm sure a decent bookshelf is within reach that could produce more bass XD

one tiny thing that i'v been impressed with is something called the LG XB12 (i tink). it's a tiny micro-compo system that plays DVDs, CDs, has a USB input and two small 5w speakers (full range). It cost some 5k.....and it actually sounds rather decent, i don't know if it's the lack of a crossover, but music sounds quite enjoyable on it, no sparkling treble or earth shaking bass, but the clean midrange somehow makes it a decent deal for 5k

Sorry if this offend you...This is not intentional, but letting out based on your words.

Your signature tells that you might sell your AVR and setup in the near future... When you entered into this forum you talked greately about this stuff and purchased and later you put in sale, because you are satisfied intially and you want MORE in music and now have a thought about it and selling off. Ultimately it is not serving your purpose of spending xxK for a short term also.

Due to budget restritions and looks cool and moreover it occupies less space intially everybody venturing into this. Rather filling the room with music it try to fill the ear as much as possible closely.

So no harm or gimmick comparing our great system. It is VFM if properly selected.
