Iam not sure of ONIDA brands.
But do see below an experience of my friend of a ONIDA 32" LCD that he possessed.
Bought a ONIDA 32" LCD and had a warranty of 2yrs or so. Started giving problems - like auto volume raise/reduce, screen distortion after a year. Called many times to customer care, and response was almost - "nothing to mention". Couple of times the service engineer came to rectify, but mentioned some excuses and left. Tried to contact the manager customer care, city head, regional head (Emails, phone calls), it was nearing the end of 2yrs warranty, then went for extended warranty - which was also coming to end. Finally after apprx 3 yrs or so, he got a replacement of the LCD.
Please note - this may be one off reason. Not necessarily all ONIDA products are bad. But thought just to highlight on the status (mental agony) faced by my friend.
