Onkyo 3400 or 3500 ? getting for same price

a dealer has promised me Onkyo 3500 at a very good price , since i am his regular customer . the price of 3500 is same as 3400 . i dont really care about the extra usb port in 3500 .

i am getting BOTH for SAME PRICES .

what to buy ?

Also Audyssey Dynamics seems to be missing from the 3500 if I am correct which brings the 3400 upfront which at-least has 2EQ Audyssey.

I would not really suggest to change it, 2EQ Audyssey would not really make much of a difference in terms of Sound, anyhow you can manually adjust it to suit what sounds best to your ears.

Also in 3500 you get the front USB port to play your music files directly, which is an advantage.

I will say set it up and enjoy

I found there is considerable amount of difference in SQ with & w/o Audyssey Dynamic Volume & Audyssey Dynamic EQ. I have 3400 for last 5-6 months and tried various settings but with Audyssey Dynamic Volume to maintain omptimal listening level & Audyssey Dynamic EQ along with Music Optimizer gives good joy of listening even @ low sound level.

Try out with those who have 3400 or in showroom and experience yourself...

I feel chennai is the best hub for amps and speakers price also reasonable.
Onkyo 35oo is bought for my friend @ rs 28000 @digitalworld anna nagar

28000 is high ... I was quoted 27K (without even negotiating) ... i think I could have got it at 26-26.5 K post negotiating ...
