I want to buy Onkyo HT-S5500 @ Rs.40,600 from eBay GEB(After entering coupon 'CRACKERCC1' )
Onkyo HT-S5500 eBay GEB
The same system is sold in INDIA for Rs.63,000/-
The power rating says 120V, 60Hz power consumption is 5 amps which means total power 120 * 5 = 600 Watts and will I need 1000VA step down convertor or based on Receiver Watt + Sub Woofers Watt?
I know that I need to use a Step Down Convertor 220V~240V, 50Hz -> 110V~120V, 50Hz. But my question is about missing 10Hz cycles while converting from INDIAN voltage to USA Voltage. Because I have seen a youtube video stating that missing 10Hz signal doesn't create any problem while listening AUDIO but when watching TV we can observe WAVES on screen.

Does anyone who imported HT from USA face this type of issues while using step down convertors?
Please let me know which Step Down voltage converter can resolve WAVES on VIDEO issue?
