onkyo hts 5300

dear friends how is onkyo hts 5300?
i had gone to the form value mall and auditioned it and he gave the price of about Rs 52000.
and saw the hts 9300 which is thx certified, it was priced about Rs 72000.
how are those two?
wanted to know, are they worth the money?

Reviews seem to be good but nothing great. Not sure what advantage THX will add to onkyo speakers as such they are not really great sounding speakers. For that money I would suggest you to go for an AVR with speakers of your choice ......

I wouldn't pay 52000 Rs for the 5300 over 23000 Rs for the3300, just for an Active Subwoofer and slightly more powerful. We will probably never play it that loud ever.

THX certified is way outta my league for the time being. If I had that kinda money I would have made my custom HT by now

What I am interested in is a 5300 for 18000 Rs {slurrrrrrp}
