I cant make a decision which one to choose among these. Their price are almost the same.

Onkyo 5805
- support Atmos
- AccuEQ - I heard it suck. Ypao is better

Yamaha 2910
- Not support Atmos
- YPAO

Onkyo343 + polk 6750
-Speaker Polk (maybe better than speaker in HTiB)
-Not support Atmos
-no auto room calibration

I have one question - room calibration is that important and will make speaker sound significantly better?

I may not upgrade the speakers

COULD YOU PLS GIVE ME SUGGESTION

THANK YOU VERY much in advance

Hi,

Since you are the end user, you have to decide for yourself and this can happen once you audition these systems with your kind of music...decide then accordingly based on your requirements, appearance, performance, connectivity and of course budget..

It is better to go for a system which has most of the latest features as then later you can sell it off in case you want to upgrade later...

Auto calibration helps to adjust the speaker levels, equalisation, distance etc. After it factors your room acoustics and considering the furniture present...this helps in optimal settings for you to enjoy music + movies...

If you don't want the auto stuff, then you need to be sharp enough to adjust the tonal settings, levels, bass management of your speakers for the room....

Decide well and read available reviews to make the right choice...

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
