I am looking to buy an OPPO 103D blueray player anytime soon. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

The Oppo hardly needs a feedback. It is a reference level player for Blu-ray and DVD. You can buy it blind as long as you get a good piece from a reputed dealer or source.

Player wise it is a reference player, no doubt about it. You can find reviews about it in Audioholics. Here is the link:

However, with UHD players in the horizon from Samsung, Panasonic...I would weigh my options given a budget of Rs 50,000 which you are willing to spend on a player.

No. And I dont plan to any time in future. But i am sure it should work fine.

I am using Oppo 103 for the last one and a half years. No problems at all. Its an excellent player. Does everything as promised and does it well. I got a region free piece from USA and carried it. If you can get it for US price it is worth it. Unfortunately it is priced exorbitantly here.
