What is the cost, where to buy, do i get region free player?

out of curiosity... Is it really worth to go for Oppo vis a vis the BDP available easily like Philips HTS9520 or Sony BDP-S490 or Panasonic DMP-BDT220 which are easily available?

If you can please explain, why Oppo??

Hi, the reviews of OPPO 103 is more convincing. I am just trying to setup my HT. I am really not knowledgeable about audio and video equipments. Oppo has a built in amp which i can use as a pre amp when i plan to buy an AVR. Till such time i will use it as an amp. I do agree that some features cannot be used in India.

Dual HDMI Inputs
Triple USB Ports
PAL/NTSC Conversion
Back-lit Remote Control
It reads 2tb external hard disk
plays most of the format

These were the points which made me think of oppo
Please advise if my line of thinking is wrong.
