Packaged deals for home theatre

Since my budget is less will these be decent setup with good sound? Can they directly be used for TV viewing or being Netflix movies or I need to buy something else too. Can they be upgraded in future ?

With those HT packages, you will need to have a AV receiver, that can power all five speakers. SO you need to add a budget for a AVR.
No idea about the above mentioned soundbar.

room size approx 14 * 12. Max budget 25-30k but I don't wanna put whole 30k into something that is outdated. I see a lot of movies, shows, sports on TV (43" LED) which is in my bedroom, but the sound from it is very low. Other than that good sound effects really attract me. Therefore, decided to get something on which I can enjoy sports, movies more plus listen to good music. I have been doing research and research but it seems you need big budget for even decent sounding systems or HT.

JBL 2.1 soundbar is a total value for the money. I auditioned many soundbars but nothing beats JBL 2.1

If you are planning for new, then yes, you wouldn't be able to complete AVR + 5.1 speaker package in your budget..

If you are open and can opt for used well maintained AVR (10K), you can easily get a good 5.0 speaker package (Taga TAV series) for 20K.. This would be a great start for 5.0 HT experience..

Thanks. Any idea where can I get such deals. Checked on ole nothing in my city. Buying used item from someone in a different city seems risky.

Check out Logitech z906. It costs 21450 in amazon. I haven’t heard them but they seem to have good reviews

Please drop in to the sellers place, inspect the AVR and only then use your discretion to fetch it, negotiate the price further..

Alternatively, suggest you to open a "Wanted thread" in the forum classifieds, mentioning your requirements & budget.. You may get some deals there as well..

Option 1 Taga speakers with an entry level receiver will be great for you but you need to increase your budget by 15-20K. I would not recommend second hand route for AV Receiver unless you know someone who is selling.

You can also check HTIB which includes everything (Reciever as well as speakers) but they may not be future proof.

If you want new in less than 20k, get stereo speakers and a stereo amp, or like some suggested go for a soundbar.
5.1 in that budget is difficult, also make sure your room has enough space to accommodate all the speakers, else it gets over bearing and muddy. Powered speakers are another option that can fit well in that budget.

There is budget home theatres package from Sony/panasonic / Yamaha (299) etc. from Reliance / bajaj electronics. These are good for decorations only,
As suggested above FM better go for bose/JBL sound bars.
