Original diva of Park Street goes silent

Never really heard her but definitely heard "of" her from my father who loved the good old days at Park Street, Calcutta. He used to travel there on work and used to always take in a good evening and recount his stories at home.

May her soul rest in peace ...

Sad news indeed George

Saw her first in 70's at Golmuri Club. She and her band were practicing at the poolside for the big show later that evening. She looked stunning in the bright winter sunshine. I had never seen a more beautiful lady prior to that. That image of her shaking a tambourine remains etched forever.

RIP beautiful and talented Pam Crain.
