Panasonic Brand Shop - Fooled me!!!

Hi All,

Visited a Panasonic Brand Shop and wanted to buy a 42 Plasma.

Owener shared that HT is free as well, however, only for 2-3 days.

I was not having required funds so booked TV and paid him an advance.

Now got to know offer is valid till 31st August.

This is cheating....I do not wanna buy set from guys who LIE

He has offered, 42XT50 at 49 K with 2 Glasses....:sad:

I won't say that he cheated you. He fooled you to the extent of playing on your anxiety and rushing you into a purchase. This is assuming that he was not ignorant of the 31-Aug deadline (though I believe that he knew perfectly).

The price seems to be right also. Confirm the 2 glasses. Website says "glass not included".

Many times dealer says today is the last day for offer & you should certainly know that its a drama.

Do not over-react and get hyper. Did you buy the TV only because of the offer - then probably the shopkeeper was smart enough to play with your anxiety... if the TV is for your main possession and you bought it because you like it, then enjoy the damn thing..

I dont think so - the offer started around 15th July I think -you can check with your dealer though.

The dealer in Noida is offering me 42XT50 with home theater HX-170, one 3D goggle and one keyboard for wireless connectivity with the tv.
He is asking for 51K and said the offer is over after this weekend.

I think the keyboard is not there as package - so may be he is charging etc for that...

Actually there is no official word on the offer, what TVs carry the offer and how long.

Congrats buddy - whats the final price ? This is a known offer by multiple Panasonic dealers and cannot be a bluff... recently we bought a Maruti and their was a gold coin offer than came much later, and there was no proof given to us.

Anyways I have seen the SMS a dealer got from his sales manager/company which listed the models and the offer clearly - and I know 42XT50 was listed there and 50XT50 was not !!

I called up Panasonic support/sales couple of times in last week to know more and guess their response - we do not have any knowledge of the offer and it is probably being done at dealer level. Please check with them... :clapping:

A 1. There is no proof. Just the word of the mouth from dealer. If you do not get the HT, dealer can claim that "the offer was withdrawn without notice", or "offer was good till stocks last", or any such thing. I never purchased my Panasonic because of the HT offer. One dealer in Pune did not even tell me about the offer or maybe it was suddenly announced. The HT offer came as a pleasant surprise. But I do not need or want the HT. As of now, I am hoping to strike a deal with the dealer - exchange the HT for a 3D BDP.

A 2. You will get the universal 3D RF glasses. The model is VIERA TY-ER3D4MW or something like that. These glasses are compatible with all 50 plasma 3D series (2012).
