Dear Experts
I am newbie venturing into HD TV and HomeTheatre after sticking on to my old Sansui TV for past 5 years (its still working!)
I looked at Samsung UA40F5100ARLXL -- 40 inch LED Full HD, where the list price is Rs 59500 with 1 year warranty. and Panasonic 39b60D, 39 inch LED full HD, list price is Rs. 42,900 with 3 year warranty
1 inch difference in screen size, translating to Rs. 13,000 difference in price? I can't quite understand this. Other specs seem comparable. If I go with the Panasonic to save the money, will I lose anything more than the 1"? eg will I be compromising on picture quality, service and support etc? My main usage of the TV is to watch movies and my son plays Xbox and watches TV. At Croma both the TVs are there the picture quality looks similar to my untrained eye.
Thanks in advance for your guidance
