Hey friends,
I m getting a Plasma tv P50Vt20D at Rs 80000 from Gobol.in.

How is this tv??
Please suggest.

2) 3d quality
3) Smart functions
4) should i buy it A factory second product or not??

Please reply asap

Too old. Too expensive. You can get better TVs for the same price roughly, given that technology has changed in the last 2-3 years. Of course, VT20 was the top of the line, but as usual times change.

You can buy a Samsung plasma in that price range, F8500 which people are picking up in another thread for about Rs 85-87,000/- This is but one choice.

I am sure there are many others.

i think avinash is referring to f5500 and not f8500 beacuse AFAIK 64f8500 is a 64inch samsung PDP 3d smart tv and is still retailing at close to 2L.you can also have a look at panasonic 50as670d smart 3d LED tv,its a 2014 model.you can search the forum for more info.hope this helps..

Yes i know abt 64f8500 and its price,

I just want to know abt 50vt20 , should i buy it or not?? At Rs 80000 and its a factory second tv

panasonic has stopped production of plasmas....so in case if your tv becomes fault you can't get it replaced....so it is better to go for a led and for your budget i would recommend sony 50w800b

well like many wise members have already commented, panny has officially stopped producing plasmas and the model you are talking about is a factory seconds on top it.I don't see any reason as to why you are still considering it.at least i wouldn't.rest my friend, is up to you.

No one will recommend plasma and there is no any update in that technology.. Would suggest an led tv

Why? You just can't comment your preference. You have to back it up with reasons please.
Will do that in sometime. I was in search for 55 inch tv last year, plasma was an option but end up buying Sony bravia w800 series..

Plasma obviously have better picture quality and contrast ratio though

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
