Hey guys, need suggestions n feedback n pls help me decide between these two Tvs priced similarly though different sizes n one is flat n curved n obviously in terms of pure value it should be tcl 48inch.
But I am OK with either n more concerned about performance in terms of PQ.
Though I have almost finalized the tcl n instead of tcl non curved model I have selected curved cause it has a samsung panel I suppose which should fare better then the other flat ones.

Guys... Anyone... Can help me solve this dilemma. I am seriously confused between these 2. My 3 main parameters are picture quality, reliability and after sales (warranty).

Go for the Panasonic, I can vouch for the reliability & PQ
I had recently accompanied my friend who was on the lookout for a gold television with similarly requirements as yours.

The same model Panasonic Shinobi 43D450D was purchased after a good look around & research.

My friend is very happy with the purchase.

My suggestion will be stay away from curved displays.

Hi, Thanks for the feedback. This shinobi model is the one without the chroma hexa drive.. This is the lower end 43" model without the smart features n chroma hexa drive... So is this good too. Second, why so u say stay away from curved... Any particular reason?

Recently got the Shinobi 43D450D.....This the best you can get within Rs 37K and that from Panasonic. My Samsung Plasma gone kaput hence this, and reliability was my foremost criteria.

The only difference between 43D450 & 43DS630 is the smart feature & the refresh rate of the panel, the model I recommended has 200hz where as the higher end model has 400hz panel.

To get the best viewing experience watching a curved screen is sitting straight opposite, it fails badly when it comes to viewing angles as the sweet spot is narrow, you looking to buy a television for the family living room stick with a flat panel.

Thanks for all your suggestions n input... Really appreciate it. Well, the TV is for my room... Personal use only.. Not the living room. Mostly it'll only be me watching it.
What's pushing me in favor of panny is obviously a much more established name and better PQ and I am hoping better reliability n after sales over tcl.
Though uve heard horror stories in regards to panel failures and after sales even with Panasonic.

What's in favor of TCL is large 48" screen with Samsung VA panel in the same price + additional 6 months of warranty.
Reliability and after sales is unknown terroritory.

So honestly, I am still undecided, actually I am replacing a Philips 40" Tv.. So the only thing pushing me apart from the above towards tcl is its larger size being curved could just he a bonus if it really is a bit more immersive n mostly the reviews on Amazon says... Apart from few ar praising it's PQ being a samsung panel.
Why tcl over other brands is since its an international brand n is making tvs n it's components for Amy yrs now unlike brands like vu, micromax, Sanyo n the likes.

I am so confused.
PS. Does Panasonic provide additional warranty upto 3 yrs for purchase?
