Hi,
How's this 50" LED from Panasonic, for 58000 in Delhi (with bill) ?

I didn't wanted to go for 50" only models.
i''' connect apple tv or wd tv play, to this to play movies wirelessly from DLNA router with hard disk.

thought of going for Gaffar market purchase (without bill, wou'd have saved 7-8000, i guess), but warranty issues, made me to think about Official purchase.

What do you guys think, is there any other VFM option, to be considered ?

I went ahead and ordered this TV on Shopclues. Final price was Rs 60,099. I did not want 3D and I did not want Smart features as well. I will be using an Android stick to make it a Smarter TV instead. Will be setting up 3D on my Optoma HD66 with a ViewSonic 3D HD Processor.

With Shopclues - this is the first time I am dealing with a larger transaction. The site said it delivers in 7-9 business days. Shipped the 3rd day, which is good.
I should receive it today.
I got a call from a Shopclues CC guy on Friday and he sounded nice and professional. He intimated me that my product has been shipped and I should be receiving it on Monday.

Well, the only not so good is the courier they use. DTDC. I hate DTDC and they delay the delivery by quite some time in my area.

Still waiting... waiting.... waiting.... for the courier to Reach Vizag. Its in Hyderabad still.... I knew its going to be a long wait with DTDC.

From Delhi to Vizag - Shipment booked at on 17th May 00:00 hrs and its 21 st May mid day done. I dont think I will get it today too.

Does DTDC offer specialized SLOWEST delivery times. Damn you guys.

F i n a l l y
got the TV delivered to home by the Snail paced DTDC yesterday evening. It took two full days for the DTDC guys to deliver the TV from a branch that is 4 Kms away from my home.
The TV is hard box packed and the package is humungously big. It stood nearly 5.5 ft in height. I registered an installation request with Panasonic customer care yesterday afternoon 1:20 PM and I called back today at 1:45 PM and I was told a technician has been assigned already and they will call me. I got a call at 2:35 PM from the local installer and he is coming tomorrow morning for the install.

Finally, after extreme follow up with the Panasonic installation guy, I have the TV wall mounted. The TV itself is a very low profile one, but the wall mount that came with it is around 3 inches so the final look of the TV on the wall isnt so great but its okay. I have the screen doing on top of it when I pull down the screen so this works.

ok so its been months and im thinking of planning to buy this model now for christmas. The price as of now on indiatimes is 72,000, snapdeal 65,000 and flipkart 68,000.

now can someone tell me if this big 50 inch Full HD is a good buy coz the price seems too low for a 50 inch full hd led??? I dont need 3D and stuff, just basic TV viewing, movies, serials, etc.
how is the picture? is it pixelated? is the picture colour good? any motion blur? does it have both component and composite video inputs separately?

im asking so many questions coz im planning to purchase it online. OR should I purchase it from a retail store?? price will be higher???

SUGGESTIONS TO PURCHASE ANY other BASIC (NO 3D, INTERNET,) YET GOOD PICTURE FULL HD LED'S, 46/47/50 inch under 70,000 will be appreciated. PLASMA WILL ALSO DO, BUT FULL HD. I WILL CREATE A NEW THREAD REGARDING THE SUGGESTIONS.
