Hello people

I have a six months old Panasonic plasma.

I am facing a peculiar problem, while watching videos from USB or Memory card through the in-built media player, the TV is tripping.
To start it again, hard switch on-off is required, the remote dosent work at that point.

This problem started about a week back, now it has become very frequent, the TV hardly plays videos for 10-15 mins before freezing.

Has anyone else faced such a problem??
What can be the issue??

Thanks
Akash

USB port might have been damaged........have u tried all of the USB ports.......??? before u call the customer care check every possible troubleshooting from ur end.......try different USB devices on different ports...........if these fail call customer care immediately.......

Get in touch with customer care immediately....If there is a problem with port, it might need a complete ports board replacement.

Did you try connecting the same USB to a Computer/another TV?

I have tried both USB ports, the issue persists even when using memory card, sometimes after hard reset, only selecting the usb/ mem card from AV select it trips again.

The pen drives, HDD and memory card works perfectly on other computers.

Panasonic ASS Rocks !!! :clapping:

Called Panasonic customer care yesterday, the service person called promptly and visited in the evening.
He came and just reset the TV to factory settings, the issue seem to be resolved for now. :D

Will test more extensively over the weekend, and post the results.
