Hurraay!!!!! I have bought Panasonic X20 from eZone on 15th August at 38000 only...They were offering special discounts for these 3 days till 15th August. So couldnt resist the temptation.

Dont you think this is a very attractive price?

The set is yet to be delivered. This would be my first HD TV replacing my current CRT Panasonic Tau which gave me excellent service and performance.

Exisiting X20 owners please share your inputs..

That's all? Just two posts on the owners thread. C'mon guys you owe this forum a review once you get sound advice from here. No hit and run please

Sadly I am waiting for my digicam to get fixed as it is on service. Wanna put my review along with pics.

Till now I am very much happy with my purchase. Will expand further in my review.

I bought home X20 last week during the Ganesha festival weekend. My requirements were simple - 8 ft viewing distance, watching TV for 90% of the time, occasional viewing of HD content.. not a videophile nor a bluray fanatic. So I made a deliberate choice to go in for HD-Ready set amidst FullHD craze much to the amusement of my friends.
Well, X20's performance has been beyond my expectations!! Amazing PQ with most natural looking colors!! by natural color I mean, the sky blue is real sky blue which we see when we look up at the sky.. not the kind of attractive colors the latest and greatest Full HD LCD/LEDs display which looks tempting and nice for a moment.. in comparison X20 might look pale and dull in the showroom, but looks absolutely amazing and stunning at home with nothing else to compare.
The other option I had was V20.. In my view, the difference between X20 and V20 was not day and night.. couldnt really justify the premium it commands for a marginal improvement in PQ and all those bells and whistles like neopdp and networking stuff which I really didnt need.
Considering its price-to-performance ratio, X20 is one of the most VFM TV's around which does its job quite well !

@rgs2k7: Did you have a look at the Samsung 42 B450 plasma TV. How does the X20 compare to that? I am asking this because the panasonic can't play movies from a pen drive while the samsung can play nearly all the formats. Now, that saves around 6-7K on a media player. Here, these two TV's are priced nearly the same with the Samsung just 1K costlier than the Panasonic.

Hi,
I have almost decided to go for this model, but now I am in a dilemma on whether plasma would be a good choice, when you can get 32" LED at slight more price with all the benefits like slim design, less power consumption and able to stream the movie formats through its USB connectivity and internet connectivity!

Guys I am still deciding between the P50V20D and the 50U20D Would appreciate the reviews from one and all Thanks
