PASSIVE 3D version of PLASMA TV!!!??

I was wondering if we can have a Passive 3D Plasma TV coming in near future........so that the disadvantages of Active 3D (like costly glasses/IR Sync issues) etc can be ignored.

As LG has recently released the CINEMA 3D LED TV which is PASSIVE 3D (LW5700/LW6500 series)

The plasma has the advantage of displaying full 1080 lines even in 3D ( though LG is supposed to release a firmware which enables its 3D LEDs to display full 1080 lines in 3D)

Also, I personally feel Plasmas are a better technology when it comes to refresh rates and sports/movies.

Any inputs???

get corrected..samsung plasmas doNOT have IR Sync issues like Sony or lgs lcd/led's, coz samsung for all its 2011 onward 3dtvs has updated its 3d glass tech,based now on bluetooth,which does never requires line of sight or looses signal,...ur info about Ir sync issues r a thng of the past.Add to that the glasses r much lighter & comfortable,they offers brilliant pictures w/o decreased brightness & contrast,with much lesser crosstalk or flicker.Though passive glasses mayb cool,but active glasses r still the 3d performance leader!

Thank you for the information......seems 51D550 plasma from Samsung too has Bluetooth transmitter......So sync issues are now eliminated!!!
