Hello guys

I wanted to know has anyone verified their PayPal account using Indian debit card?

If yes can u please tell me the steps to open and verify a paypal account using a debit card

I need to buy some things from ebay.com

Please anyone help me out with the steps

debit card will not work, you need a credit card. I have tried sbi visa card, I could register for receiving payments but not for making payments.

There is a india helpline number in paypal, siugn up first for an account and call up the helpline number as displayed in paypal.in and they will help you out.

So no bank debit card works for paypal ?

So compulsory u need to have a credit card?

Debit cards are accepted... probably need to be international or maybe its limited to certain banks?

I use my Axis Bank international debit card for making payments/purchases and it works fine.

However, I've not bought anything off Ebay with it... I use it with eCommerce merchants who accept PayPal.

Sign up/open a new account the same as any email account. Make sure the details (name, address, etc.) are correct. They will be verified against a card or bank account.

In Profile > Add/Edit Credit Card or Bank Account.

First time there will be a $1 charge (I don't remember the exact amount) for verification. I do believe it will be refunded but you will end up getting a little less (PayPal makes money off exchange rates in its favor). After that you will not be charged for any change in cards or address.
