hi all,
i want to know how to unlock the region code (5 ) in philips HTS3564 bluray3D home theatre. it has the region code of 5 only. but i want to use other region code 1 ,2... like that. what is the procedure for unlocking? please help me. thank you in advance.

Region 5 is for DVD. Search the web and in particular videohelp.com for region free codes. I believe the DVD region may be changeable but for BD it will be locked to Region C.

Numbers are for DVD region and letters for Blu-Ray 'Zones'. But we usually use blu-ray 'region'.

but other type of DVD region code(1 or 2) cannot play in this philips bluray 3D hometheatre. how can i unlock this?

Search for clues in AVSforums... they have the procedure for region hacks for many players, mostly DVD region hack.. I think most of the regular players can be hacked for DVD region free.. so try your luck there
