The reason for taking this step is they are not getting response from the market in TVs and CD Players. No body is willing/preferring to buy Philips TVs and CD Players because there are many better and advanced options available in the market.

oh, I searched till page 5 for this news but didn't get any to thought of posting a new thread. I hope you don't mind it as it won't cause you any personal harm...

You will do better if you use the search functionality of the forum. Its not about personal harm. The thing is, if someone has any opinion he will either post here or in another thread else where. In this way it is difficult to keep eye on people's opinion about the topic.
