pioneer htp071 vs yamaha yht 196

Got tata sky plus hd and xbox 360. Its not full time movie setup about 50 50 music movie. I listened to yamaha liked it over onkyo.
Getting pioneer for about 20k and yamaha for 22k in mumbai.

Please suggest

pioneer 071 has more bass

yamaha -more clear sound.
can add additional active subwoofer later. only problem is can't decode HD audio. Can solve by connecting digital audio cable.

my option is yamaha

first of all go for a demo, hear what your ear and mind says, and decide.

I have heard yamaha. I like it over onkyo 3400. I dont like too much bass because most of time the bass is not tight but boomy. Also 3400 mids were artificial.
