Gooooood day all!!

I would like to know what ppl here think about the Pioneer SC-LX56???

Earlier, I had decided to go for the Denon 2313, but I'm getting the Polk Tsi400, which goes upto 200watt and the Denon has a limit of 105w(8 ohms). I figured I could juice the speakers a bit more with the SC-LX56, at 8 ohms it generates 130watt. Also, this Pioneer receiver uses a Class D3 amp and I have read some good things about it.

I agree I'll be missing out on Audessey, which happens to be the best. But, I am sure I'll be able to use Pioneer's MCACC room calibration to get the best performance from the speakers(after some experimenting ofcourse :))

Also, I am not able to find much info about this amp on hifivision, I wonder why.... Cause it's U.S equivalent being the Elite SC65 seems to be highly rated in all the U.S sites and forums,

The LX series are very well regarded, but they are pretty pricey here. Only few are affordable via gray market route.

I am sure it will drive your Polkies effortlessly and give you the best sound. :)

LX-56 is available with Bill & Warranty for 70k, pm me for info.

Don't decide the receiver based on the power....How much power one needs is based on the speaker efficiency/sensitivity...If you are getting the Polk Tsi 400 which has 91db efficiency/sensitivity, you wouldn't need a powerful amplifier......

yes.Cool, will see what is the best price I can get it for in grey
