Pioneer SP-BS21-LR Bookshelf Speakers

I came across this video demo of the famous Pioneer SP-BS21-LR Bookshelf Speakers...... its been wonderful to hear these beauties...

I think FMs participated in the pune meet can give some comparison between the video and the real audition sound please. Whether somehow the video matches upto the real audition??!!! Give your comments....

I got a pair of BS22..but somehow I think my polk rti4 seem to be better..but again I could be wrong. people are free to drop in and test themselves

ok..tried my pioneer bs 22 pair and compared it with my polk rti4 pair and in terms of clarity the polk seems to win hands down. the pioneers definitely have more bass but seems to lack clarity. when i played robots by kraftwerk - the pioneer had distortion with a weird sound..not sure if I got a lemon...but after having read so many great things about this speaker...I just like the Polks better.

Reason for me to compare was to finalize what will be my front LR and Surround LR and I seem to prefer the polk.

Let me know if anyone else has a similar experience.

In fact my center speaker -the Polk cS10 beats them both.if one has money..better to get two center speakers as L&R..per my opinion

Any advice on if these speakers are bright or warm? My Yamaha 371 is on the brighter side, so wondering if picking these up will be a prudent choice or not. I think these will be hard to audition in Kolkata.

They will match with Yamaha.They are a bit on warmer side.-
